AC Milan Line Up Summer Bid for Man United Defender Nemanja Vidic

Milan could bid for Vidic if Manchester United manage to sign Ezequiel Garay.
AC Milan are set to make a shock bid to sign Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic, with reports stating that David Moyes could look to phase the Serbian out of the United first team if they sign defensive target Ezequiel Garay, the Daily Mirror reports.
The Italian side see Vidic as the ideal partner for current centre back Philippe Mexes, with the pair forming a formidable partnership that would help Milan get back towards the top of Serie A.

Vidic has struggled with injuries over the past couple of seasons, playing only 23 games for United last season as Sir Alex Ferguson had to limit the amount of games he played.
This has led to speculation that new manager David Moyes may take the opportunity to reduce Vidic’s first team appearances still further and replace him with long term target Garay.
The Argentine international has been the subject of interest from United for quite sometime with recent reports stating that the Red Devils are close to signing the 26 year old who currently plays for Benfica.
Vidic is still Manchester United’s captain and strengthen United’s defence whenever he was fit to play last season so Moyes may still decide to keep the Serbian at Old Trafford.
